Ashu Gupta
Founder, President & Chief Executive
Officer
A longtime veteran from Oracle Corporation,
Ashu founded Ubex with the vision
of helping companies achieve business
transformation by using enterprise
systems. With over 15 years of experience
in the industry, Ashu brings with
him a wealth of technology and management
expertise. Under his leadership, Ubex
has grown to become a strong client-focused
firm providing premier consulting
services to companies that are market-leaders
in their industries. Before founding
Ubex, Ashu worked at Oracle Corporation
for seven years. As a key member of
the Application Object Library group
at Oracle, he was instrumental in
the development of many advanced technology
features in Oracle Applications. He
was also responsible for the management
of several internal releases of Oracle
Applications and was the author of
the interface between Oracle Reports
and Oracle Applications. Ashu holds
a Masters degree in Computer Aided
Engineering from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology and a Bachelors
degree in Engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Keng Lim
Keng Lim is recognized as one of the
inventors of the Java application
server through his founding in 1995
of Kiva Software, an application server
pioneer. He has built several successful
software companies during the last
12 years, including Approach Software,
Kiva Software, Netscape, Escalate,
and Sygate. Keng founded Escalate,
Inc., a leading order management software
company, in 1999 and was the CEO of
the company till 2003. Keng launched
Sygate Technologies Inc., a leading
provider of the enterprise endpoint
security enforcement software, in
1998 and has been serving as the chairman
of the board ever since. Keng began
his career with Oracle Corporation.
He holds a double B.S. degree in Computer
Science and Civil Engineering with
high distinction and Tau Beta Pi academic
honor from the Ohio Northern University,
and an M.S. from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT). Keng's
vast experience with the enterprise
software industry provides Ubex broad
management expertise and technology
vision that complement the culture
of innovation at Ubex.
Peng T. Ong
Peng T. Ong is a well-known technology
entrepreneur. He is the founder and
CEO of Encentuate, an enterprise security
software company that offers next-generation
identity and access management solutions.
Peng grew up in Singapore. He graduated
from the University of Texas at Austin
with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
in 1986. In 1988, he received his
M.S. in Computer Science from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
After receiving his masters, Peng
played both engineering and management
roles at Illustra, Sybase, and Gensym.
He then co-founded Electric Classifieds,
the creators of Match.Com. In 1995,
Peng started Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ:IWOV),
which makes software to control the
development, management, and deployment
of business-critical content. He was
the president and CEO of Interwoven
through 1997, and its chairman through
2002. In 2002, Peng served as one
of the twenty members of Singapore's
Economic Review Committee (ERC). The
ERC was a high-level committee whose
task was to review the economic plans
for the future of Singapore. Peng's
entrepreneurial experience and his
passion for business growth are a
significant addition to Ubex Corporation.
